We're Gonna Be Moms

Kim and Casey, a determined married lesbian couple, attempts to get pregnant through reciprocal IVF and fulfill their dream of being moms before it gets banned in their state while dealing with their past trauma from a miscarriage.

This is Elise's senior thesis film. She spent a year and a half writing and revising the script, totaling 18 versions. The film was greenlit by the Ringling College Film thesis board in May 2025.

The film was shot in February 2026. Production spanned over three days and was shot on location at a local home in Sarasota.

The film is currently in post-production and will premiere in Sarasota in May 2026. It will be submitted to festivals after completed.
